Our Executive Team

Steve Karlovitz

As Synegen’s founder, President, and CEO, Steve Karlovitz knows what it takes to run a successful consulting firm. For the past 17 years, Steve has taken Synegen name from a blip on the technology radar, to a key contender among the big players in the industry. Drawing on over twenty years of industry experience, Steve maintains that not only does it take exceptional coding skills to succeed, but a custom-driven focus as well. With a top of the line skill-set including SDLC, Cloud Computing, UI/UX, Java, and Enterprise Architecture, what Steve and his team can do for clients is limitless. Steve is a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University where he received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science.

Jason Zeilenga

Jason brings a wealth of Enterprise Architecture experience to Synegen, having been involved in the successful implementation of enterprise systems, ranging from global ERP and SIS implementations to SOA service platforms and identify management solutions for larger organizations. Apart from designing solutions, Jason also has experience in methodologies, leadership, and team building to successfully implement technology solutions. As a Partner at Synegen, Jason leverages his experiences to ensure that our solutions match the client’s needs and can be delivered successfully. Jason has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and over 13 years experience in the education industry.

Rex Famatid

Rex has been with Synegen since the beginning of 2011 and is currently the Director of Cloud Services. He oversees the implementation teams at Synegen focused on cloud-based technologies and solutions, and can provide hands-on assistance as needed. Rex is involved with the business process analysis of Salesforce.com integrations to design the most efficient solutions while managing technical resources to project completion insuring client’s requests are completed. By leveraging his experience and knowledge of best practices across industries, our cloud services provide economic and secure feasibility to our clients. Rex has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Depaul.

Jason Miller

Joining Synegen in 2008 as Business Development Manager. In 2010, Jason was promoted to his current role as the Director of Business Development in which he oversees the realization of company growth and revenue objectives through the coordination of new business development, management of strategic partnerships, and account management of several key accounts. He brings with him more than 17 years of experience in sales and sales management. Jason is a graduate of Elmhurst College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in the field of Sales and Marketing.

Todd Pombert

Joining Synegen in 2008 as Business Development Manager.
