The Need: Correspondence Management System
In an effort to deliver consistent, quality service to its customers, MCM developed an electronic record management system they called MC-Manager. The system eased the records management process for its employees and increased MCM’s service level to its clients. However, new Hippa regulations required that MC-Manager evolve to meet current standards.
MCM encountered an obstacle doing this: the current MC-Manager system was built on out-of-date, legacy technology systems, making maintenance and enhancement costs unreasonable. Therefore, MCM had the need to rebuild the MC-Manager system leveraging more current technologies and enhancing the current functionality to meet Hippa standards.
The Synegen Approach:
Since the current system provided functionality that met the needs of MCM, Synegen began the engagement by evaluating technology platform/architecture options. After analyzing several possible architectures, Synegen consultants recommended that the new MC-Manager system be developed on a INSERT PROPER PLATFORM HERE since INSERT REASON FOR PLATFORM DECISION HERE.
Once the technology platform was decided on, Synegen consultants began the development process. The Synegen project team followed Synegen’s proprietary, iterative development methodology to determine the new system’s business requirements. Once business requirements were determined, the team designed, developed and implemented the system. During each phase of the project, milestones and deliverables were presented to the client for review and approval. Upon completion, complete documentation and user manuals were created to enable the client to use and support the systems easily.
The Solution:
